HDR10
The baseline, royalty-free HDR standard supported on nearly every HDR-capable display, using one fixed brightness setting for an entire piece of content.
HDR10 uses "static metadata" — one brightness and color calibration applied across an entire movie or show, rather than adjusting scene by scene. It's the most universally supported HDR format today, making it the safe baseline even as newer dynamic-metadata formats like HDR10+ and Dolby Vision gain adoption.
